This latest 2x portrait camera comes via an update, aka the OneUI 5.1 update with the firmware version number “S91xBXXU2AWF1”.
This update has started rolling out to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the Southeast Asia region, including Indonesia.
Portrait Camera Samsung Galaxy S23 Get Update
DabestDay.com monitoring, Wednesday (21/6/2023), the Galaxy S23 Ultra that we are using has received the OneUI 5.1 update with firmware version S918BXXU2AWF1.
After downloading and finishing installing the update, the 2x portrait camera mode will immediately appear in the camera application.
With this update, the portrait mode on the Galaxy S23 series has three zoom options, namely 1x, 2x and 3x.
With a 1x portrait camera, users can photograph objects with a blurred background using the 200MP main camera. While the 3x option allows users to shoot photo objects using a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
So far, some people think that the 1x portrait camera is too wide (wide) and the 3x portrait camera is too enlarged.
Well, this is where the role of the 2x portrait camera comes in. This 2x option can be an alternative for users who feel that a 1x portrait camera is too far and 3x is too “zooming”.
When using 2x portrait mode, the device will snap a camera object by doing a digital zoom from the main camera.
